Monday's Pit Stop

chronicle photo by Michael Ciaglo

Christmas Past

My first 35mm camera, a Yashica 35GSN, was a Christmas present in 1973 when I was a  sophomore in high school.
My first digital was a Sony and  a Christmas gift from my brother in 2003 I believe.  Both cameras served me well taking 1000's of photos.

One Week Ago Today

Houston had it's first frost of the season last Monday morning.  Then by Thanksgiving it was 80 degrees and muggy.  Now we are having chilly weather which I love.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr I'm In The Mood For Christmas!

Monday's Pit Stop

Bite Me!

Oh Please Santa!

Nostalgia

I miss the old lead/tin icicles which were outlawed in 1972.  I never put up a tree of my own till I was about 30.  When I put icicles on the tree I noticed that they didn't hang heavy.  And when I turned on the ceiling fan(I'm in Texas now and it can be warm in December) they were a tangled mess.  Of course, you are probably thinking what I've been told recently:who in the hell puts icicles on their tree?

Wish List

I'm sure there's a lay-a-way plan if anyone wants to get this for me.

Kiss Me You Fool

Holiday Spirit

I thought going to the Houston's Nutcracker Market would get me in the holiday spirit.  I've never been around so much pussy.
This years theme was "Putting On The Ritz".
Hundreds of booths with vendors selling a lot of stuff not related to Christmas
but to get you shopping or the holidays.

I would say the crowd was about 95% women.
And it was too damn warm.  Why they don't crank up the AC when they expect thousands of people I do not know.  I wish I had worn shorts and a t shirt.

There was some Christmas, I mean, eye candy here and there.  This guy riding his new toy purchase.
Till he gave it up. Sweet!
