Monday's Pit Stop

1/2 Off January White Sale

Kitchen Love

Yeah I know, no white cabinets.  I'm amazed while perusing new homes that 99% seem to have the dark wood.  Builders have left the "golden oak" era behind for that very dark ghost coating they call walnut.  This home was very bright but I still prefer a white sterile kitchen.

Growing Old

I have many moments that I still think and feel like a horny teenager.  So it's a smack in the face to see actor Rupert Graves on Sherlock Holmes season 3 on PBS looking like, well, a man of his age.  And a fine one at that but...
I still remember him as Freddie Honeychurch in a Room with a View.  So if my former crush has aged, then sadly, I have as well.

No! You're The Man Peyton!

I crush as much on Brady as the next guy (or gal) but Peyton is the man.  So glad that he and the Broncos will be playing in the Super Bowl.  It's typical the Texans would pass on Peyton when he showed some interest a few years ago.  Those damn neck injuries-how could he be the same?  I don't know if he's the same as he was with the Colts but he's going to the Super Bowl.  Good game yesterday between the Broncos and Patriots but not as good as the Seahawks and 49er's playoff.  That was a helluva game!

The talk around the water cooler-since the Texans had such a great season entitling them to a first round draft pick is that the Texans will choose Johnny "football" Manziel and then trade him to Dallas for Tony Romo.  Hey, it's just the rumor mill showing the confidence we have in the head office of the Texans.
