We did without TV over much of the weekend because the converter box bit the dust. When did the PTB change the signal from analog to digital? At any rate, that is how long the first box lasted. So I debated on whether I wanted to buy a flat screen TV. I just can't get enthused because, for one thing, my Sony 32" analog still has an awesome picture, and another is that I think I want to hang a flat screen on the wall in the living room but I don't let the dogs stay in there sooooooooooo. What to do? I just bought another converter box so that my father, me, and the dogs can all huddle together in the evening in front of the old set. But someday, I will have cable and a flat screen. Maybe.
It's so precious to see a youngster exhausted and asleep sitting up with his mouth open. But I don't look so precious in such a situation. Nor does my 98 year old Father. I'm always prompted to walk over and check his breathing when I see him with his head back and mouth open.
