I'd like to see The Artist win best picture along with the actor and actress. I was skeptical when I went to see it. I thought I'd probably be bored and leave early. It's by a French director with French actors(what can I say? I'm like that.), it's filmed in black and white, it's SILENT. But I loved it and actually can't believe that I haven't seen it again.
My choice for actress is between these two, Meryl Streep and Michele Williams. Just PLEASE don't let Glenn Close win. I'm already nauseated at the thought of her acceptance speech. As far as supporting actors, I'd like to see any of them win but the guy from Moneypit. I would prefer Chirstopher Plummer, Max Von Sydow, or Nick Nolte.
I'm just wishing really. I can't justify the majority of my choices at this point. I used to make it a point to see every movie possible that might be nominated. That's not the case anymore.

The Help. Where's The Help in all of this??
I'd bet on Meryl Streep. Did you see her interview on 60 minutes a few weeks ago? She is absolutely charming. and modest.
Michelle Williams has really blossomed talent-wise, since Brokeback Mountain.
I'm gonna go with George Clooney for best actor.
I loved The Help as well Lewis. I don't think the lead actress will win but Octavia? stands a good chance to win suporting actress. She deserves it for her shit pie.
I have yet to see most of the films...I saw "My Week With Marilyn" and it's possible Michelle Williams will win. I wanted to see "The Artist" before most people knew what it was about; I just haven't done it. As for Meryl Streep...I so want to hate her but just can't.
