Bad habits

It's obvious I have no self discipline. Just as when my babies were actual babes, I let them have their way marveling at how they managed to jump ALL THE WAY up on the sofa. Now almost 3 years later I have done nothing to encourage a better master/dog relationship and you can see the sad results. A house with covers on the slip covers. Geez. I used to have more discipline and drive but. . . The same goes with keeping up with this blog. I was a fool to think I could maintain a blog with any consistency. Just as with my girls, I had no clue or a plan when it all began. I have just short of an addiction to blogs, emackinations, Kenneth in the 212, London Calling, Towleroad, and others. Now if I could keep up with my own postings as diligently as I read theirs I'd be a better man. But bad habits are hard to break. I'm weak as water. :(

Seeing red

After a weekend of busting my humps, my lovely lady humps--I digress, I was stood up by the construction crew that was to work on my cracked and sloping slab at my front entry way. That was yesterday. Since I took off work I decided to enjoy some margaritas although just too darn hot to be outside. Yes I said it TOO HOT and it's not even officially summer. SO then the kicker is one of the guys calls today and says he was sorry but they need $500 cash up front to get supplies. What the ^^%$#%#? Whew. I can feel my blood start to simmer all over again. That is how my week has started. I hope yours is better.

The place to see and be seen

The girls and I dined at one of the hottest restuarants in the area for this time of year. Many times while there I got the feeling we were being cruised; not a first,at least not for me. The noise level is quite high but not so much for the chatter more from the hum of the freeway.

Dog days of summer

Blue skies awaits us.

Red lights, road construction, and a train do not deter us.

Ahhh it was well worth the trip.
Time to go home as we leave are pals behind.
